You Bug Me!
The silkworm and the spider make the world's strongest threads but they argue about whose is the best. The ladybug proposes a contest to determine which string is really stronger and the battle begins. A short red rope is tied to a short yellow rope representing the bug threads. The knotted ropes are placed inside a change bag and the ends of the ropes pulled up into view. Two kids from the audience play the roles of the bugs. Each pulls their thread to see which will break first. But the rope doesn't break it stretches to 12 feet across the stage. The ladybug does a little magic of her own magically cutting the rope and then restoring it back together. When the rope is completely removed from the bag the knot has vanished and the red and yellow ropes are joined together as if they were made that way. Hanging from the center of the rope is a silk necktie with spider thread in the design. The ladybug declares the contest a "tie" and offers the moral. There's no argument about it, true strength comes from the inside. When we combine our inner strengths we form a team that's unbreakable. Comes with specially made knitted ropes, music CD with background music, full script, plus reading and Gospel application ideas. Change bag not included. Our Ladybug change purse is the perfect bag and sold separately.
